Gita Brown is a writer, musician, and yoga educator from Massachusetts.
Her writing has been featured in the Boston Globe and Ruminate Magazine. She is the founder of Musician’s Way Yoga, a comprehensive lifestyle system that nurtures the physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being of artists to aid their artistic growth and performance. She is also a senior licensed practitioner in Yoga for the Special Child®, serving individuals and groups of all ages and abilities. In addition, she is a teaching artist at South Shore Conservatory, providing clarinet lessons to clarinetists of all ages.
Mrs. Brown has degrees in music performance from the Eastman School of Music and the University of Michigan. In addition, she has a degree from Alverno College in music therapy. Mrs. Brown is also a certified Integral Yoga instructor-500 hours, and a Senior Licensed Practitioner in Yoga for the Special Child®.
