Find Balance with the Autumn Equinox

Happy Autumn Equinox!

Welcome to autumn and all of the letting go and balance it offers!

Some inspiring words from author Shauna Niequist:

"Use what you have, use what the world gives you. Use the first day of fall; bright flame before winters's deadness; harvest; orange, gold, amber; cool nights and the smell of fire. Our tree-lined street are set ablaze, our kitchen filled with the smells of nostalgia: apples bubbling into sauce, roasting squash, cinnamon, nutmeg, cider, warmth itself. The leaves as they spark into wild color just before they die are the world’s oldest performance art, and everything we see is celebrating one last violently huge hurrah before the black and white silence of winter."

I just loved that passage and thought it really speaks to how the cycles of the seasons offer so much to our senses and rhythm of our lives. It was too good not to share with you!

Sending you peace and joy, love and light on this auspicious first day of autumn!

Yours in Peace and Gratitude ,
